About Us

Nesha began making soap in 2018 as a hobby to pass the time while stationed in Ottawa, Ontario. Being separated from her family provided a chance for her to explore her creativity. Over time she began experimenting with different recipes and providing soaps as gifts to fellow service members, family, and friends. After retirement and relocating to Randallstown, MD in August 2021, she decided to launch Suds and Butters in January 2022.  

Nesha’s mission at Suds and Butters is to produce the best hand-crafted soaps, lotions, and candles. Our soaps are developed through cold process. There are a few select melt-and-pour products available and will be labeled as such. Each item created by hand in small batches to ensure quality control. We use high quality oils, clays, and micas on the market. Our future goal is to become more environmentally friendly.
